This Progress Report was delayed a bit. Personally wanted to release it near Christmas but there actually wasn't enough to put in it since most of what happens isn't flashy or content focused but under the hood stuff with SS14 and it's engine. Got it out now though and we're pretty happy with it.

Gained a couple more coders since the last report and we've actually had some community servers popup. We have barebones playable rounds now and as you can see in this progress report we're actually adding content to jobs now.

Don't have 24/7 rounds going yet but we do playtests every weekend which helps us massively in finding bugs etc.

We also have a active Steam page now if you want to opt in for playtests. (You can still download the launcher from our website).

If you have any questions lemme know and i'll try to answer them. SS14 has pixel-movement and has removed intents from the start, instead opting for a "combat" mode like tgstation recently got.

Neat, although calling the singularity the best engine is very cringe. The “advanced” setup of a SIngulo would be adding more RCs, which happens to be an aspect of SM as well, but from the SM POV it is its BASIC form of setup (most people just add more emitters instead).

Also hope botany is like tg current instead of being more gene machine, those mechanics ruined botany.

We teased it last time, and now it’s here! The singularity returns as the latest and arguably greatest engine, with the particle accelerator, containment field, and radiation collectors already implemented. It is capable of going through the station like a hot knife through butter, so beware of sabotage!

I'm a dumb feature coder, also a bad (but not terrible) coderspriter and a semi-good mapper and an enforcer of standards.

I don't think you can have jobs that take as long as ours do, rounds that last longer than 40 minutes to an hour and instawin shit like this without some kind of respawn mechanic. Otherwise it'll just get nerfed or removed.
