What If goon and /tg/ merged together? would the playerbase double? or crash. Would ss13 enter a golden age? or the dark ages? What would happen?

I was playing on Goon the other day for the first time in forever as a result of some on my feet decision making that exactly didn't pan out and it was just incredibly ugly. I've said that /tg/station lacks the QA it once had and that nobody cares if new sprites fit the art style or are better than the ones they're replacing but our codebase visually blows everything they do out of the water.
The only exception are their pop-ups when you hover over an item, which look more clean and modern than ours. Also they have this fun little thing when you change direction while moving where a puff of dust comes out from underneath your feet which I'd quite like to port.
So to answer the question their shit would ruin our shit unless we were very careful to cherrypick only the good stuff and leave the rest to rot.
Also it was interesting to see how our fork of their codebase has managed to surpass theirs in almost every way and the way the timelines have split on certain things (like they still have the old wizard den which we made into an empty space ruin when the wizard got given a ship).
