Should Lavaland still be power creeped away from station balance

in kor era it was made that you could not simply be a sec officer and curb stomp lavaland fauna.

This has led to power creeped weapons that, when brought on station could curb stop a sec officer.

The power creeped weapons have sort of gotten nerfed or area-locked and we are here now.

Should a shotgun be able to blitz a fauna? Or should things stay the same

a non-mega non-elite fauna, yes. you should totally be able to murder a goliath with a pipegun and a few improv shells.

For the simple practical reason of being able to actually rescue dead miners, this or something like it seems nice

Miners not being able to fucking obliterate anyone in low-pressure areas is a nice bonus.

Is miners being powerful on Lavaland actually a PvP issue though I rarely if ever see non-miners there and never see miner antagonists killing people there

The problem is, or I guess used to be, that miners could come back and find a space dragon in space and immediately clap it with their tricked out PKA and lavaland loot.

no, I doubt it, we've never had serious complaints about miners on mining, it's specifically when they return to the station.

Yeah lavaland holopara's being able to mine now is top tier

Now if only cursed heart could give you a one time revive from a megafauna gib..but trap you on the lavaland z-level permanently...
