IC Character Alignment Test 2k15

Another year, another alignment check. So far every year on this server I went from True Neutral to Neutral Lawful. It's time to check last year's play style, in fact my alignment has actually reverted back to true neutral.

I disagree to a notable few parts of this.

Chaotic Evil- A chaotic evil character does whatever his greed, hatred, and lust for destruction drive him to do. He is hot-tempered, vicious, arbitrarily violent, and unpredictable. If he is simply out for whatever he can get, he is ruthless and brutal. If he is committed to the spread of evil and chaos, he is even worse. Thankfully, his plans are haphazard, and any groups he joins or forms are poorly organized. Typically, chaotic evil people can be made to work together only by force, and their leader lasts only as long as he can thwart attempts to topple or assassinate him. Honestly, I'm far happier with the results I got off a personality test that is completely gaming-unrelated (but the principle behind it is some pseudoscientific weirdness).

PHOENIX came back as either 1w2 (Reformer/Helper) or 8w7 (Challenger/Enthusiast). Got almost identical scores there (12.5 vs 12.4.) Needless to say, PHOENIX being a spessmens character who was too fun for Bay, it's obviously on the unhealthier end of personality development.

Sounds about right. If it isn't explicitly prohibited by the server rules or the captain's orders, I'll do it. Traitors I catch almost always end up executed, and I make a show out of it. Anyone who's seen one of my courthouse executions knows what I mean. Greytiders are tortured. Cruel and unusual punismhents are my favorite, and I can get quite creative. If I know that a cult is hiding out somewhere I'll grab one of the N20 canisters and gas the entire area. If anyone harm me or shoot at me with lethals, I make it a point to hunt down and murder them, to the point of having an officer hang out in each escape pod so they have nowhere to escape.

I do try to do my best to protect people that are actually innocent. Nobody ever fucks with my officers. If it's just something minor like stealing a non-antag objective or a barfight, I just brig them for 3 minutes and let them go. Most of the theatrics are to intimidate would-be greytiders into... reconsidering their life choices. I'm fairly generous to people who I know are innocent and especially people who give me tips, but once somebody is a confirmed antag or a shitler, I'll go open season on them. People accuse sec of powergaming a lot, but I think that's an inherent problem with the idea of sec. Their job is to hunt down and stop whatever is threatening the station, per the centcom message near the start of the round.

Generally, when I play Sec or AI, I leave antags opportunities. Forget to cover that exit. Don't bolt that door at the edge of camera range. Check the brig a little less frequently.

Shitlers are a different matter, they deserve to die. Antags are only trying to make the round entertaining. A second chance, no matter how remote, is what they deserve, until they start murderboning.

Paladins can multiclass, they just can't go back to taking Paladin levels after they multiclass (Unless they multiclass into certain PrC's.)
