(Question) Bee's xenobio crossbreeds (Especially Crystalline and Symbiont) are cool, why don't we have them here?

The crossbreeds from beestation's Xenobiology sound really cool, why don't we copy it from them? Code incompatibility? do the coders not care enough? something else? just curious.

Xenobio is overflowing with niche content that takes up design space while being a boring experience to put together.
People have been trying to expand further on the crossbreeds for a while, it's gone nowhere.

Xenobio is gonna lose it all

Hopefully whatever change comes back can cut down on the useless redudancy and add more unique cool things.

I doubt it though. It's just easier to remove the cool stuff and say that it should be added to other departments eventually (never)

coders currently have an active freeze on new xenobio content until slime breeding is given actual depth, for better or worse

i do agree though that itd be nice to cut down on a lot of the redundant xenobio content and trim the fluff, the current system of every color combo needing some kind of effect leads to a lot of filler
