The counter is (or used to be) extinguishing yourself with a fire extinguisher.

Well right now body temperature is pretty stupid and you can be on fire for a pretty long while without taking damage, but once you get into that damage temperature you will continue to be damaged even after the fire is out, but even back in the days where fire directly damaged you, this wasn't "meta."

I suppose fire is kinda a pressure move. Once you get someone lit they are gonna have to stop drop and roll at some point, and if they do you can beat them to death with a toolbox or whatever, if they don't then they suffer damage over time.

Hellfoam grenades are still great, but the same effect can generally be produced with a big enough bomb.

this combination of fire expands at the rate were you cant stop drop and roll to fix it

I always thought adding gunpowder was a key part of making hell foam. But it seems most people don't bother with it (or did it get nerfed)? The internal explosion is really powerful and it was worth lowering the amount of phlog/clf3.
It keeps getting worse!?
