But what the fuck happened with Anon?

I stalk the Dev section of the fourms, not the politics shit, someone want to tell me what happened? Please?

He got pissed off about how people were accusing him of of seizing power when he was the only person among the /tg/ administration willing and able to take up hosting after SoS decided he could not continue, and left. I'd likely have done the same in his situation if I tried to help out and then got accused of running a scam/being a power hungry schemer.

There's a couple threads here in which Anon3 discusses what/why. The money that was remaining from paying for the server after he had taken over and setup the original patreon has been transferred to MSO from my understanding.

I could explain it more and talk more about it but I would just be devoting more attention to something I'm struck with the realization isn't worth any of this.
I feel really stupid and ashamed that I tried this hard at this thing because it's ultimately totally meaningless. This thing has no future.
I also feel really badly for everyone that is still here because they haven't figured that out yet. And I've met some really likeable people here that deserve better.
It's time I admit not that /tg/station is dying but that it's just a ghosted body in crit we all keep performing CPR on. The whole thing was a joke from 2008 we've somehow kept retelling to ourselves and new people for almost seven years.

I mean come on we could be playing other games and experiencing wonderful moments like this

It's not right for people to pile on him like that, but I can understand the paranoia after SoS. He was without a doubt the shittiest admin I have ever seen on a major online game server, ever. It's natural that people are on edge. Don't let these people get to you, An0n. Over time, they'll see that you've stayed true to your word. There is life in this server yet. The server has undergone a large number of improvements. Just in the half a year I've been playing, we've gotten all kinds of goodies and additions. TG station is far from dead.

The way the transition went was handled pretty poorly. It wasn't clearly announced and people were saying one thing and then doing another.

Maybe I'm just being overly optimistic, but after SoS I've been more or less desensitized to badmins.

Granted, it's nowhere near the same situation. From the looks of it, it's an issue of poor communication.

Communication as of late has been extremely poor, in fact its been so bad that singulo has been the most reliable place for information.

He's not the first to ragequit without any warning and then shitpost on the forums afterwards. This has happened lots of times. I do think he's the first to make a YouTube video about it though.
