I recently started to play spess man more often and I have questions seeing how alot of shit's been added in and wiki is severely outdated.

1- What is this revenant I hear of? I see people accuse retards of this, im assuming it's a new antag like that summon shadowlings do where the guy goes around laughing mind fucking everybody.

2- The balls is an abductor?

3- Why the absolute fuck is Double E-Swords block rate no longer 100%? Taking that away isn't worth that 1 less hit to kill someone if you can still get RNG fucked over by energy base weapons.

4- Why is it super heated plasma constantly increase pressure and eventually starts to leaks out of the container, Is there some manner of preventing this?

5- While implanted after being converted by a shadowling does other players with huds still see your implant "works", similar to if a cultist gets a implant- it doesnt deconvert it just shows theyre implanted.

6- Not new but in the case I blow up the micro wave, how can I get a new one? I know in the past I fucked up once trying to make a kebab and the metal rod did something bad.

Revenant is an invisible murderbone antag that is currently being retooled into a poltergeist that uses environment to kill people. Not brilliant, wonderful thing though and huge potential from hero coder Xhuis

Abductors are a new antag that spawn in a pair. Scientist can teleport to and from their special UFO and an agent can disguise as people. They teleport in, put someone to sleep, take them back to the ufo to shove cool alien surgery things in them to give them good or bad random powers.

Didn't notice the block being changed but hulk double esword was pretty bad

no idea about plasma

5- dunno

6- You can repair them or order a board from robotics I believe. They are no buildable machines.

There is a wiki page for both Revenant and Abductor. Revenants are gonna be disabled when the server next updates, and Abductors can currently only be forced/spawned by admins. same with Shadowling(which has nothing to do with Revenant).

4. because that's how laws of gas properties work in real life, pressure scales with temperature
5. not sure, might test it later and come back here to tell you
6. microwaves can malfunction and there are multiple ways to fix them depending on the malfunction. i suggested they make this easier to fix and more clear on how to fix it ages ago, never got done. if it gets blood spatters on it, you need to use a sprayer of space cleaner on it. if it blows up or whatever, some combo of tools fixes it (maybe screwdriver-welder, can't remember, just try every tool)
microwaves can also be deconstructed, rebuilt, and upgraded like every other machine

Sticky, you can get a microwave board from Science and build a microwave with a laser and a console screen.
In regards to number 5, thralling someone doesn't remove their implant from Sechuds, if that's what you're asking.

Sounds good if you add their job title in there as well.

Kind of defeats the purpose of an antag, though, when all their actions are broadcast to the entire crew. And as much as it sucks, you KNOW people will take advantage of it.

I don't think we even have a button to spawn them.

Would it be possible for a global wordfilter to replace the erased person's name with "...um, you know" or something like that?

Probably. Would cut back on the meta too, since people can use a telecomms script to achieve the same result.

Unfortunately, it also has its issues:

1. What happens when multiple people with the same name are on the station? The probability is slim (unless a geneticists mass-produces UEs), but it is a possibility.
2. People usually address each other with only their first or last name.

The second one just includes separate entries for the last name. Wouldn't work for first names, but people would go "Hey, have you seen John.. uh, whatsisname", etc.

The first one is hopefully rare enough to not have happen often, but you know if it was implemented you'd have some jackass doing that just to fuck things up.

sechuds are well bugged because when a users changes their ic identity during round, i.e ling change, mask etc it doesn't actually recalculate the details of what it shows to the security guys on their huds.

Very abusable.
