agreed. giving greyshirts ridiculously low sentences as a sec officer is really satisfying. especially if you know they technically committed a crime but you know in your heart that they were just having fun and it didn't hurt nobody. or, even better, if they bothered your boss. then you can say that, well, you did brig them, but you're also not an asshole

1. Stunprod - this depends, but these are usually made by people who are commonly targeted, like the mime or an annoying assistant. If you have a stunprod on its own, it gets confiscated. If you have it whilst committing another crime, that's another ten minutes in interrogation as I ask you "Okay, but what makes you feel the need to carry around a stunprod? What are you afraid of? Did you do something bad, and expect retribution? ARE YOU A SYNDICATE?". And God help you if you actually use one against Security when they're arresting you.

How many of these items do you usually have at any one time?:
* Spray bottle (water)
* Stunprod
* Cablecuffs
* Spear components
* Lighter and bottle of alcohol/welding fuel
If you answered one or above, and you're not an antag, you want to go home and rethink your life.

On that note, the easiest way to tell if someone suspect is an antag is to murder them, wait for the bwoink and when one comes just clone the body. So long as you act like you thought they were antags you can get away with it.

No this is not directed at a particular admin or incident, just something that annoys me about developing for the game in general when I put a lot of work into something for people to enjoy and it ends up the fodder of some unfunny "event" instead.

Probably a dumb thing to get mad about.

I just want to share some pain from Cargo.

As the QM, when you work your ass off with the stock exchange, you reach 40k credits, and there's that chucklefuck of a cargo tech that decides to spend it all on a batch of bloody collectible hat / toy crates without asking me first. Why, for god's sake. Why.

Next time anyone pulls that, he's getting thrown out of cargo, with a pickaxe rammed so far up their butthole the medics will go have to go MINE FOR IT.

Not at all. I haven't been playing long but some of my favorite rounds were the unique one-off events. I don't know how endearing those events would be if they happened every other round, however. I definitely appreciate the effort you guys put into the new content and I'd agree that the perfect formula to introducing it is to keep the appearances succinct to keep it spicy.
