Mid pop round on sibyl
be HoS
Sticky or some other mlgpr0 elite e-sports murderboner is murderboning
Revolver
thermals
so much ammo that it's coming out of his ears
runs around murdering the shit out of fucking everyone
hides in maint and dunks people because mlg certified thermals
everything's going to shit, half the crew and most of sec are dead
medbay's been ASSaulted twice, full of n2o and shit.
Go down to engineering with one of the surviving sec officers, recharging guns
No pda because I died once (but I have my ID)
no egun with seclite, because murderboner stole that also
Tell the officer to 'stick close'
go into atmos
he's there
start blasting at each other
other sec officer takes one look and runs the fuck away like the cowardly shit he is
all the lights suddenly explode
it's the random fucking event
I have literally no light sources
neither does he
but he has thermals
get rekt in the dark

Fucking 10/10 timing, jesus fuck it was funny.

Yeah, stimpacks are pretty shit.
Also, protip: next time you do a centcomm officials gimmick, pray to trade your TCs for a centcomm announcement to tell the crew about your arrival. Otherwise, you can't really call it meta.

I'm not really mad at all about the "friendly malf" not working, because I get it. Though I think there should be a policy against disabling players like that.
Putting a player in straightjacket + muzzle and chaining them to some bed in some dark room, or taking the cell from a borg, locking it down and throwing it into some dark corner is just needlessly cruel to the players, not even the IC character. Because the player cannot just ghost out without risk of missing a possible future chance of returning to the round, the player also cannot really stay in this situation since all he gets is "You can almost hear someone talk" forever and ever which is not fun at all. And with a borg, when you have the cell out and the wiring already exposed enough to lock it down you can just kill or dismantle the borg so the MMI can stay in the round or the player can observe as a ghost. It's not just removing a player from the active round as an participant, but removing the player from the entire game and resticting him/her to ooc chat.

Buuuut then again many players think that it's awesome to force players to go catatonic by takinga way any chance of fun and that I'm just way too whiny.

I've just spend over an hour preparing a little atmos project to get the hottest pure plasma possible. It involved canisters with a 02&plasma burnmix cooking to their highest temperatures and heat exchangers to slowly increase the plasma's temperature.
All round long spiders where crawling through the vents, but I didn't care. Comms went down, bombs exploded, but I didn't care.
Everything was going great, plasma already at 65000 degrees. Shuttle has been called, but I still have plenty of time to keep going and maybe finish this.
ENTER ENGI BORG! MASTER OF ATMOS!

One hour and some minutes into the round and with shuttle on the way, he says something about having to empty out the distro vent system to suffocate the spiders.
Although barely anything has changed about your usual atmos setup (barring some manifolds on the waste loop), the borg starts yelling 'YOU'VE SWITCHED EVERYTHING AROUND!'. I ignore the toaster, distro is emptying out nicely, not very quickly, but quickly enough. After more borg yelling and him trying to take my precious plasma canister for whatever fucking reason, I decide to replace the waste-to-distro pump with a volumetric, hoping to satisfy the MASTER'S desire for quick pipe clearing.

Off screen, the borg must have been buzzing and beeping its brain out, because the next thing I see is a WALL OF FLAMES engulfing atmos, bursting every canister and turning atmos into the sun (well, if the sun was made of CO2). Borg has opened one of the burnmix canisters that was cooking. All my work destroyed in the blink of an eye, because that fucking borg just couldn't resist touching something he had no idea of how it worked. You just don't open a random canister without knowing what is inside.

http://i.imgur.com/Ct72vbz.jpg

I then went to the bar, drank all the whiskey there was and saved the last drop in the bottle to light myself on fire. In hindsight, I should have died in atmos.

IF YOU SEE A PIPE LAYOUT IN ATMOSPHERICS BUILT BY AN ATMOS TECH INVOLVING A LOT OF HOT GAS AND YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT IT DOES: DO NOT TOUCH IT! Maybe, just maybe, that atmos tech knows more about it than you do.

Hey, if you're looking for a way to break all three laws in one mouseclick, opening a canister full of fire you've been ordered not to touch by a human while said human is in the area is a pretty good way to go about it.

He patched up atmos afterwards, so I think it was a mistake. That said, opening any canister that isn't blue or white as asimov borg is just asking to break your laws. And even then, anybody that has been victim by a canister bomb disguised as an O2 tank will tell you to always scan what's inside.
Some things you have to learn the hard way.

10/10 Security... did adminhelp it after deadchat encouraged me to. Detective did get a dayban for the kill, HoS got a stern warning I hope, Warden no idea hope too. HoS also said he didn't recall lazering me, eh whatever.

hey, at least it wasn't about how borgs can't name themselves and was actually a valid complaint this time

security was mad at diony for not letting them get their valids on on the nuke ops so they killed diony for following their laws, that actually is pretty shitty

Also if you count my posts (which I did once) you find that the majority of my posts aren't about borg issues and only like 2 times I was upset about the name thing... yet people play it up so much.

The crew was just oblivious in that round. I was the starting borg and walled the syndiborg in after it had killed the AI. I had to yell AI IS DEAD like 20 times because people just didn't get it. And then, when the shuttle was about five minutes away and the fluke ops situation was pretty much resolved, people started screaming "AI ROGUE" (probably because they didn't get their door opened or ass wiped in time). I guess I was lucky, since I was only flashed every two seconds for around two minutes straight (seriously) and not destroyed. Doesn't change the fact that the crew was REALLY pants-on-head retarded.

You can adminhelp literally any time the crew shouts AI ROGUE for a reason other than shocked doors/ doorcrushing / a borg setting someone on fire or whatever.

Roboticist who made most the mechs, you forgot the part where nuke ops came and instead of my army of four or five mechs and the disk carrier bunkering in escape with tons of guns they all kinda fucked off and the station got nuked. Aslo one of the Gygaxs went braindead.

At least I escaped on the white ship which was docked at the station (and no one else seemed to notice it was there, I was the only one on it I think). In hindsight I should have made more Gygaxs for Sec after the aliens showed up in Viro. All in all it was a good round just a shitty-ish ending. That many BoH shoulda destroyed that singularity .
