Jobs and their "enjoyment threshold"

This is going to be shorter than it should be.
All jobs have an enjoyment threshold. The enjoyment threshold is how long something can last until it becomes boring. I think i play a pretty wide range of jobs and i can say the enjoyment threshold is out of wack. For an example, science takes up a fuck ton of time and has a high enjoyment threshold and command has a relatively small enjoyment threshold. The Roboticist is still collecting parts to make his super mech and the scientist is trying to RNG slimes the cap calls the shuttle because"lol bored, let's leave loosers" 10 minutes, 3 attempted recalls and 3 crew dead the shuttle is docked and ready for lift off!

Weighing in on this as I've played virology almost only for the past week. Everything can be fun. Just find different ways.

Make a conveyer belt from cloning to cryo and set it to autoprocess and be the willy Wonka of corpses.

Make a sushi kitchen and have that belt thingie.

Botany. I uh. SOIL EVERYWHERE! WHEAT AS FAR AS THE EYE CAN SEE!

Sec. Go to the space hotel and steal the fun as fuck eshotgun. Proceed to sprint down halls firing it in scatter mode and watch as anything in your way drops. Shit yourself when a hulk comes by.

Engineering. Expend the station to be one large box containing the entire z level.

Miner. Mine all of lavaland and be the first person ever to do it.

Atmos. No clue I havent learned atmos.

Chaplain. Turn the station into a dark souls esque station with no lights and only bonfires.

Cargonia. Find the white ship. Then fix up kss13 and live there!

Captain. Fuck off.

Any head besides cap, pick a person from each department and pit them against eachother in the boxing arena.

Science make toys and fuck about every round.

Janitor. Unclean the station and cover it in blood.

Be creative and have fun with your shift friendos.

Oh man. You don't even know the depths of self-made autistic fun yet.

Mining I believe has one of ( if not) the highest enjoyment thresholds.

You can either hunt for ores, hunt the natives, make rescue missions for vets and beach people, or hunt megafauna.

Atmos is literally the only job I have not and can not self teach or give the effort to try.

Atmos isn't that difficult.
I mean, I still can't make a decent singletank, but I can teach you the basics and finer points of atmos in one round or two.

There's no greater challenge than playing Doctor or CMO and genuinely trying to keep the endless dumbfuck parade alive.

Atmos or robotics are the two maximum comfy jobs

Atmos is piss easy.

There aren't actually that many things that you can do with it that translate to any actual use though.....

You can have some fun with the disposals/transport tube system though.

A fun thing to do in atmos is try to hook the primary plasma tank directly up to the combustion engine, fuck up and flood med-sci maintenance with plasma gas.

I just rig plasma so that it looks sabotaged but really only fills the turbine and wait until someone comes to beat the ligger.
Fucking racists, I swear.

Don't do this.
I ordered one of my drones to do this as warden one round.
Also, holy shit it's boring to play warden when there's nothing going on. Gun crafting when?

Might as well derail the thread a bit. How's it coming along? Who you coding with? How's it gonna work?
