Admin availability problem

One issue I have been noticing repeatedly lately is a lack of admins available for ahelps, particularly on sybil during even primetime hours.

It is 7:07 PM on the East coast on a friday night, with 37 peopel on and we haven't seen an admin for the past 4+ hours or so except to restart a server. This should not be happening considering we have an admin team of over FORTY people on the admin team.

We need more active admins. I propose approaching some dedicated players on Sybil to see if they want to join the admin crew such as Jarek, Icepacks, Mindustry or Jzoid. We have had countless issues of horrible greytiding, salty vengeful hotel spawns, shitsec, extreme escalation and nonantag assault/theft in addition to general asshattery lately and need help corralling the shitters in.

Sybil in particular is in a bad spot, because we really have no headmin representation and only 5 or so admins actually play on it.

I saw some people complaining about extreme validhunting or whatever. Strangely something I don't see when I admin Sybil, so I dunno.

I'm also probably going to start adminning and playing on Sybil a lot more now that I am done with finals since I like lowpop much more than highpop.

If I remember correctly, there was a minor migration of players when Sybil kept crashing and basil continued to work.

Or so I noticed in the homepage. For a whole week I noticed Sybil stuttering and going up and down

Since the initial complaint was about a lack of Sybil admins at certain times, will you be stopping by Sybil more often, or will you mostly be Bagil?

Heh, I've actually offered people to use the Thunderdome for settling past-round IC/non-actionable issues and small warnings between each other. The several times I've asked people if they're interested has always been a chorus of "yes," and it seems to actually put a smile on everyone's faces or at the bare minimum relieve tensions and keep the players on speaking terms with one another.

While I unfortunately can't tell if you're joking, given the context I feel that what you described is going to fall out of the consensual Thunderdome fight for an "IC Issue/minor warning" and likely result in harsher punishment - though it of course depends on what lead up to it happening.

I just want players to get their frustrations out for something that's usually an IC issue and (typically) doesn't come to light/get brought to my attention until it's posted in next round's OOC ;__;

I was a trialmin for a day under tedward and not only am I on the EST, I'm free from the afternoons to evenings due to my glorious graveyard shifts. I was given the chance mainly because I somehow fall unfer the category "Stormfag", I could give it another chance seeing how im done with school until I take an internship.
