As others have echoed I'm not sure if splitting the US servers is a great idea given concurrent player numbers tank pretty hard later in the night and one of the servers tends to end up abandoned.

Euro server sounds bretty good though.

I am leery of this simply because last time we tried to split the community three ways it ended up with Basil dying. Do we have enough players to sustain three servers?

On the other hand it might bring in more european players so who knows

We don't even have enough players to fill two servers, and often not even one server, considering all the game modes and maps are made for 50 people at least.

First step is finish the already planned migration.

sybil/bagil are moving to a new server (i7 7700k, 64gb, 2x512gb ssd) over the next week.

I have tweaked how i'm going to do the migration and setting up of the new server to take into account that an EU server will be joining the ranks in the near future in order to make that easier to add.

After this migration is done, I'll pop up a cheap end testing EU server and we will see how things go. Regardless of game server usage, I'll be able to make it so that everyone in the eu gets their resources from this server, even when connecting to sybil and bagil so that the EU server can speed up the downloading of resources. (i'll be able to do the same with AU, but without making an actual AU game server). I might also be able to mirror the wiki/forums to the eu server using some mysql router tricks, but that one's more up in the air.
