How to fix the PA Console "hack"

Hello everyone,
I don't know how long this random has existed but as the title implies, I've got no idea how to fix the PA Console when it gets "hacked" by "outside forces".

I've tried reconnecting wires and the console, and found the Smuggler's Satchel underneath the floor tiles, but then what? I cannot turn the PA Console on again as I keep getting the message "ERROR: Request timed out. Check wire contacts."

How do I fix it?

How is the satchel related?

Don't know, never looked under there before, thought it had something to do with the event.

If I'm missing something, I'd like to know for future games.

Not related.

Best I can tell from my novice code reading skills, the log/admin note just defaults to "outside forces" when there is no ckey connected to the PA deactivation.

I had this issue. Disconnect the PA monitor and pulse around until it does work, and that should do it

maybe there was a signaller on the wires
