Bottom post of the previous page:

Monkeys not being able to see out of vents is a feature, apparently. Ventcrawling got changed a while back so that you need thermal or x-ray vision to see people while inside a vent, hence why xenos are unaffected.

Monkeys need sufficient pressure and O2 to be able to survive in vents for long periods, scrubbers are almost always de-pressurised so crawling through them is a bad idea.

Also monkey fever forces you to revert to being a monkey even if you get made human via genetics or mutadone.

We apparently see different scrubbers. I keep seeing them filled with 1k C CO2 gas, for SOME REASON.

I was in air vents and was suffocating

also I personally think not having vision in vents is a good change I was just unsure ifi t was a bug or not

The default atmos set-up doesn't have enough pressure in it for safe habitation, or to actually pressurise anything.

The pump on it is calibrated for 101 kPA, but, regular pumps take a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG ass time to actually reach their target pressures. I always switch it out for a passive gate which is instant (assuming it has enough pressure to work with)

I ran a monkey round the other day and I don't know if this was bugs or not but

-monkeys can't see out of vents anymore, they just see the pipes/vents
-monkeys suffocate while in vents

the monkeys lost, actually, it was a bit fucking ridiculous

(also the captain got jungle fever and beelined for genetics to make himself human wew)
monkeys almost always lose because they're stupidly weak, and whenever i run it i have to make some crew at pretty much random into infected monkeys to keep the round going. last time i ran it i also made two of the botanists traitors about a quarter of the way into the round with the objective to stop banana production because bananas stopping the virus permanently absolutely wrecks the entire mode.

This brings me joy because passive gates don't drain the tank the way volume pumps do. Valves also work well for this if you want to go above 4500kpa but have the disadvantage of being two way, meaning if plasma gets in the distro you have to empty out the airmix line as well instead of just the distro.

The fact ss13 has hundreds of players over every other game BYOND offers. We are the lifeblood that keeps this shitty engine on lifesupport.

Being nice to people as antag and people looking away when I do antag stuff.

On the other side being nice to antags as sec and antags giving me syndicate items or their uplinks in return or sparing my life in general

Teaming up with other players to furnish the white ship, raid the syndie ambush ruin or hunt megafauna.

Dragging a corpse back through hell and not having "mental interface failure" pop up on the clone scanner.

Being a syndicate listening outpost guy once in a blue moon to mess with people via comms. It is helarious sometimes.

Yeah they do. I recently did the role and started with creepy and funny PDA messages then went into slight jokes with general comms by pretending to be someone getting attacked by a zombie in medical. Terry is a great server for a slow build up. Sad that there were people self antaging at the start of the round apparently. Best thing I remember is the trial min that came on halfway through SMing me You are evil when I did the zombie prank.
