Yakety Saxing away from a situation I should have died to.

Building things
Being asked for things from my department that aren't actually retarded or blatantly antaglike
Giving the clown meme grenades that they assume are really dangerous and end up just being carpet smoke
Borgs that get along and do things properly

Finding someone to do telescience with.
When a miner brings so many minerals the requests console won't stop beeping.
Getting to rainbow slimes in xenobiology without the shuttle being called.

Saving peoples lives and having them thank me profusely afterwords, bonus points if I saved them by recovering their brain from an unclonable body and put it into a clonable one since that takes a ton of effort most of the time

It just feels validating, like I'm a real hero guy, you know? Feels good

The robotics department/RD and borgs/AI working together to get things done and cooperating. More often than not they're set against eachother on antag lines, but its nice seeing a competent roboticist being saved by the borg that he just recently repaired/built/upgraded/de-emagged.

that feeling when you hijack after a good murderbone
when you actually help someone as security, or any role for that matter
that feeling when you dunk a murderboner. bonus points if they've only caused two or three casualties and you stop them before they can do real damage
teaming up with other traitors
having a competent security force that doesn't need your guidance for the little shit. (not this:"hey boss, how much time should i give the clown for drawing on the floors?")
generally having competent coworkers
the banter that goes on on the departmental channels. especially the security and command ones

Intradepartmental camaraderie in general. Science coming together to do things. Cargonia doing their thing, engineering building a fortress to keep revs out.

Some of my favorite times in science involved different sub-departments in science coming together to do something bigger than their roles.

>rogue AI during old-malf is about to finish off the station, timer counting down
>toxins had a single bomb stashed away just in case
>got telesci set up but only just and my math might be off

>toxins bro tosses our hopes and prayers onto the telepad
>push buttan
>*beep* *beep*
>scroll text

Alternatively
>R&D set up a spare chem dispenser
>xenobio is on fire and has golems super early on
>oh shit new cops dunking the station, people dying everywhere
>golem runes suddenly light up enmasse
>spare chem dispenser loads up the golems on hyperzine and sends them on their way to git dat fuckin disk
>get dunked in the hallway by an op who leaves me in crit to save ammo
>turbo golems run by decked out in eswords and eshields, drag my gasping body to the shuttle and heal me up
>one is wearing the captain's hat
>cap golem tosses the disk at my feet while another golem drags the RD on the shuttle and what's left of the crew skedaddles of the station

When I managed to get someone that's dead into cloning and cryo it's the best feeling.

Even more so when it's a new miner or an experienced miner with a GPS.

The best feeling I can ever feel in games is saving a life, but it has to be complex wounds (think baymed, dismemberment sorta gives me the feeling) and cloning doesnt do it at all.

Also when I successfully manage to lure megafauna into the mining shuttle, send it back on station, and hear the cacophony of "What the fuck" and a shuttle call after the mining shuttle docks.

Seeing Reed Glover in chemistry.

I like ERT in general.
I like them being called in for things out of the station's control, like a roundstart singulo.
I like them being called in to counter the "omg there's no sec and we're getting slammed by murderboning antags"
I like them being called in to find missing centcom inspectors or other event player characters.

Like anything, oversalting can make them feel like a station role replacement instead of a better alternative to a shuttle call.

I just really like the idea of the crew, instead of just pulling the plug on a round as soon as something bad happens or something explodes, calls for help from Centcom. "oh shit guys somebody has an ebow call the shuttle" sucks.

I've only ever seen one person use this once. And they used it with 4 minutes left on the shuttle timer.

I know it exists, but I think erts would be requested more if they had an actual request button, bad captains too often neglect that even being an option and this would at least recognize it as one

later when the round was speeding up a thrall abducted him and when i realized it was him, i apologized profusely and returned him and made a point to heal him with one of the pills he gave me as well

When roboticists revive borgs.
When borgs help one another overcome their module's weaknesses.
When the sec officer is a cool dude.
When the chemist isn't ERPing with space lube.
When the clown is dead.
When the clown is the most competent person on the station.
When the mime maintains his vow of silence to the bitter end.
When the chef cooks Ian.

Antags that are chill when I'm chill back, or people that are chill when I'm an antag and try to be chill. Once I heard nuke ops being called out while I was a chef, and I just kept cooking. I had meatbread, cream cheese bread, and tofu bread. When the nuke op team came by, I was like "yo want some bread?" and like three of them all snagged some and gave me the thumbs-up. There's also whenever I get walked in on when making talismans, sorting a surplus crate, etc. and they're like "Neat" or "I saw nothing". I'm always happy when someone realizes that if they call me out we'll probably lose the round and thus gives us a chance. I even share from my crate if people are super chill about it. I gave a chemist a dart pistol once when he told me that his syringe gun got stolen and he asked for it.

Conversely, getting revenge on someone with zero chill. A few days ago I was playing the chef (I like it, can you tell?) and the captain ambushed me in the freezer, killed me, and dragged me until I died. When I ahelped it, he later abruptly committed suicide and I was revived; it was apparently a case of mistaking me for the other cook. Seeing the captain's body on the floor stripped of all valuables and me being the one to come out on top made me feel so warm and tingly.

Speaking of revenge and being a cook, once I've played a clown called Ronald McDonald. I cooked my enemies into burgers and served them to spessmen.
