I played it and got every ending.
It’s pretty decent, whilst the happy ending is a nice way to finish off, the Monika forever ending is technically good too, Monika is happy forever. (even if quitting the game hurts.)
It’s deeper than I thought it was at first, ie: the piano actually signifying Monika coding. The corrupted Sayori ending was also pretty decent for a “shut it down” ending too, with Monika deciding to end the club and stop the insanity.

For those wondering, the president of the club is always omniscient due to coding, which is why Sayori loses her fucking mind and commits suicide if you delete Monika’s file. Imagine waking up one day and suddenly realising the person opposite you is the main character in a video game and you’re an extra.

In short, the two true endings revolve around Monika. In one, ONLY Monika is happy, which is the Monika forever ending. The other is when Sayori is made president but can handle it and lets you leave the game knowing you tried hard to make everyone happy. In this, everyone BUT Monika is happy. (ALTHOUGH, it could be argued that since she doesn’t delete the end images, Monika is accepting of the fact that things can be okay like this.)

It’s a good game, nothing groundbreaking, but I did really love the way things were handled. A lot of people spell doom and gloom, but it’s not too depressing when the happy ending is so wholesome.

Though im most definitely classed as 'isolated single white male' im not the games targeted demographic anyway, i mean I did consider it but all the same the experience has been laid out for me by the narrative of third person backseat driving and i find it kinda meh. Thats my one cent.
