That's because you're using the second best gun in the game.

I fucking suck at this shit

I did manage to kill someone by mowing them down with a jeep

That's actually more impressive than killing them with a gun.

speaking of cars you know what I fucking hate, people who shoot out the tires on cars no one's even touched yet, and don't even camp them, just do it to be a douche

Never seen that happen but lmao all the same

Nothing is worse than parachuting into military base and finding literally nothing but clothes that make me look really flashy whilst everyone else is running around with machine guns.

I shoot the tires on cars I pass/see because if you don't have a car to get to the zone you'll die and if you die I'll more likely win.

Because you can only drive one dummy, and if you already have one you don't need another.

I'm also decently good at switching seats while driving to shoot at another moving car's tires and then switch back to drive and find a hill to snipe him from when he inevitably gets out.

It already has first person only mode, it's just not on public servers. I played it before.

that's something I can respect about pubg

it's fucking annoying in rust/dayz/whatever when you try to do fun interactions but people just default to shooting eachother but with pubg there's a clear objective and you know you're all there for a deathmatch

it strips away the survival elements in favor of what everybody wants

granted the survival elements are what I like and not the deathmatch parts but hey to each his own

Also what the hek does that mean? If I squad up with my old steam-friend Bandit and then kill him because he's unpleasant to be around (he kills people who try to give him a ride outside into the circle), will I get banned?

If he's recording and reports you, yes.

If you stream it and someone watches and gets butthurt and reports you, yes.
This is what happened to DrDisRespect when he teamkilled that guy who took his seat on the bike. The guy was in his stream and didn't care enough to report him, but DDR got banned anyway.

I thought it was automatic, wouldn't recording clearly show foul play?

Very few people actively record their games.

The report feature isn't even in-game.

The current rules and reporting stuff only benefits griefers.

Early access
Optimization will be done whenever, they say

It's a very limited game, but if you enjoy it and have a really good computer to handle it, it's probably going to be the game for you
If you don't, probably not.

i've always been historically shit at games like dayz because I like to give people the benefit of the doubt and get that one in a million interesting interaction, but I always just get shot

so hopefully I'll actually enjoy playing a game where it's lightning fast in comparison and it's very very clear that the express goal is to shoot people dead

You can hear footsteps if they're close to you/on the floor above/below you in a building.

I suggest wearing headphones to play this game.

I played a lot yesterday with friends and had a really good time, I was right in that it removes the anti fun elements of dayz/etc. where you build up over hours and get shot because you wanted to rsi khaving a fun interaction

it's just straight loot and shoot, it's a good time

Gameplay is solid but devs are shitheads who ban people for killing streamers. I refunded it after sniping some dude who was streaming, he proceeded to cry to the devs about "stream sniping" and I was given a two week ban.

they will ban you if you don't shoot everyone on sight (in solo mode) and instead "team up", even if it means simply giving someone a ride in car out of the death zone.

i mean that's not really "teaming" but it is kinda memey to help people like that, it's not like this is dayz or something where you have a reason - your express goal is to murder people
