For whatever reason, at one point in the story Ramlethal (shark teeth) goes to live in Ky's mansion and work as a maid?

Image

Far right frame you can see her dressed in a maid outfit.

Yandere confirmed.

Categorically. Every post you make is a miggles post. QED.

Also it might have just been that my browser hates the [youtube] bracketing so it only showed up when I looked at a quote of your post.

What's your Steam ID? I've been playing for a while but I'm trying to learn to play on a stick so that will probably even the odds.

Cedarbridge on Steam as well. I've been playing on stick forever so I doubt I could even go back to keyboard/pad if I wanted to

Man, I can't tell if its the time I've spent in training mode with him or the changes he got in Ultra, but Dudley feels like a top 10 character. Being able to stun and kill any character in the game in two mixups (3 without ultra loaded) is amazing. His pokes are great too. Hell, one of his best pokes confirms straight into is BnBs (moreso since it can be used to punish whiffs and counterhit lazy pokes.) Reminds me of the good times in 3S.

One specific change for USF4 that totally changes everything is his Ultra 1 hitting at almost full screen while 99% projectile invincible. I mean, its always been projectle invincible (like an Ultra version of Ducking) but the extended range means I don't actually have to burn the meter on an EX Ducking before the ultra to assblast shotos at full screen for chuckling plasma.

Victory rose mixups are super cool now too. There's even tech out now to give Duds some actual cross-ups with it on oki. Its probably not going to make Dudley the next vortex character but they do add a cool dimension that was missing from his complete package. I'm going to really enjoy this new version.

Dudley top 10? Hah, those are the words I did not expect hearing from you. Only Smug seems to be able to make that character look like top 10 caliber.

The only thing he's really missing is a solid wakeup game. Most of his kit either loses to solid oki or can be baited. Ex Jet Upper is solid against basically everything but can be baited. Its something he's got in common with Cody. They're characters that thrive on knockdowns without having the tools to handle being put into a knockdown-mixup game.

i think one of the larger factors stopping me from getting more into fighting games, other than the mechanical aspect of them, is all the terminology and technical shit you have to learn about each move and for each character
id rather just beat people up while playing as cute girls and/or cool guys

Learning is fun Miggles geez.

Besides, there's not a lot of character specific terminology at all. Unless you count silly nicknames for moves or whatever. What explodes the learning curve for fighting games (at mid to high level anyway) is stuff like option selects and character specific strings. Frame data is a thing too but a lot of that can be gleaned from training mode or playing certain match-ups.

the only fighting game ive ever felt any level of good at is KoF XIII
and while i do love p4a every time i play online i get my ass beat (probably because the only people still playing it are actually good) despite it being a more casual game

edit: oh actually thats a lie i was pretty decent at skullgirls
not in online mode though because online in skullgirls is a fucking joke unless you know infinite combos for every character because that's all it is

Re: Fighting Games

bought skullgirls on steam stale but just realized my xbox controller doesn't work on PC. it's missing drivers because of whatever bullshit the plug & play doesn't work. don't feel like buying a new pad just to play fighters on steam just yet, plus i figure i can add "new actual fight stick" to my list of future 2015 expenditures, along with my planned purchase of 30 dragon dildos. i figure i can probably treat my keyboard like a hitbox and try and play it there but why fucking bother?

i used to play ggpo a lot before my old xbox pad frayed at the cords and no amount of tape could keep it together.. kof 02 & 98, 3rd strike halfway across the world vs BRs and mexicans mostly. lag was unbearable. if you could pull off any of the major combos or BNBs while playing with that underwater lag, you could pull any combo off anywhere. fuck marvel 3.

After brawling underwater with Erbbu, ranked SF4 feels pretty damn easy. I'm not a huge fan of the always-fucking-on-by-default mic thing but I guess its nice to hear the guy whine when he gets blown up by something.

Also, got my first puller today. That was really satisfying.

Having it default to on was such an awful idea. It wouldn't surprise me if the unneeded voip traffic isn't causing a lot of the network slowdowns.

I am SUPER fucking bad at fighters. I don't have the patience or fucks to give to learn a character's moveset, let alone other characters so I can know how the fuck I'm supposed to approach them. I'm too finger-clumsy to reliably pull off most special move inputs reliably, save for the easiest shit like hadoukens and shoryuukens, and I can't brain fast enough to keep up most of the time.

Uh, that said, I enjoy watching replays of IaMP and SWR. Th-though they're both ancient now so I guess I only watch old bullshit from forever ago I guess.
Spoiler:

I like Kai he is hilarious and my favorite. Even in SWR, where he plays Marisa instead of bestSuika.

I also used to play some shitty super-P2W game called Rumble Fighter. I got rekt a lot because I was bad on top of refusing to shell out for it, but the controls were simple enough and the pace was such that I was actually able to keep up with shit instead of just feeling like I was frantically slapping the keyboard and hoping wins came out.

I also have Jojo's Bizarre Adventure All-Star Battle on the PS3 but the last time I tried to play that against someone else we kept running into online issues

ASB is not a very good fighting game mechanics-wise, but it is a very good Jojo game. Also it's super easy to get into.
