Does the ending pull something similar to the neat movie:
Spoiler:
The Departed
It seems to be heading in that direction.
Nah man this game just sets up the sequel to the next game.
Spoiler:
NUCLEAR THRONE

Can't drop a sicker base than dis, going into the club with nothing but a katana and dodge roll/attack people left and right feeling like a samurai.

Gaddamn hard mode is so... hard! Sometimes they just start you right in front of enemies or gun nests. You got like no time to get your bearings.

You're really better off pretending Hotline Miami 1's ending is as far as the story goes.

The plot is really just a vehicle for ballin' murder sprees. A but less so than HM1, but still, don't stress out about it too much.

That actually sounds kinda fun, if they're far away and you can run around getting the fuck out of the way of bullets fast enough.

Man, I haven't gotten anything above a C+ in HM2. Either the criteria is really harsh or (more likely) I'm just really bad.

It's like law school all over again.

Game was okay not as good as HM1

Large levels were annoying. Kept getting killed from off-screen and I had to keep baiting enemies around corners to kill them.

The story was all over the place too and was all around depressing instead of just freaky like HM1.

Yeah it was all pretty sad. All because Jacket was gullible in the first game and went off on the wrong people after his girlfriend was killed. At least i think so anyways.
Spoiler:
I am pretty sure if someone had actually uncovered 50 blessings and killed the higher ups, the nuclear apocalypse would never have happened

A+ing all the levels, or at least trying. On Blood Money. Victory is so close I can taste it.

Oh Christ.

Looks like I'm casul as fuck. I just tried Hard mode last night, and holy shit, it is fucking insane how disorienting all the maps being flipped is.

I hadn't touched it after I beat it on Normal, because it wasn't as fun as HM1, right? But holy cocks, I couldn't even get through the first level. I got stomped as Corey on the first Fans level's floor, and then I sorta quit the second floor because of how much of a bitch the first segment is on the second floor.

Well... maybe if I hadn't been a retard and picked Corey, it might've been nicer.

I kinda liked Dead Ahead on Normal, is it really that bad?

Probably my least favorite map is the first
Spoiler:
Son
level. Completely blacked-out bar where you have to kill black people in black clothes while looking for black guns on a black floor.

Arguably the best song in the game, though.

I hated that one fucking Richter level with the fatdude and the shotgun in an empty coverless room. I really don't want to see what it's like in fucking Hardmode.

it's piss easy if you can just lead fatdude in a circle while gun guy's still out of sight.
Spoiler:
in hardmode they add two columbians with katanas that can't be killed by projectiles to the mix

HOLY FUCK I DID IT! I BEAT FUCKING DEAD AHEAD HARD MODE!

the damndest thing is that i beat the retarded awful part on my first try, the rest of the level was actually fun. Might beat hardmode after all

maybe the wrong thread since im not sure if we had one for midnight animal but hey you know that mod midnight animal that was coming out on steam and had the dope trailer?

store page was updated and now it's called "Midnight Animal: A Story of Love and Forgetting"
the author scrapped the old story and art style and also straight up called the game a top-down role playing game with the style of a VN

:?
