The first one was okay. Only issues were the story, having people he like dark souls ghosts (you only see them in certain areas, with them disappearing), and the bad grind.

The only reason it's on Bnet is Activision owns Blizzard.

played the intro mission on the beta last night

pros:

runs great
looks good

cons:

floaty halo movement does not fit at all
gunplay (with the exception of, like, two of the guns) is borderlands style trash where guns are horrifically unsatisfying to use

i'm not sold on it yet tbh

I find the gun play to be acceptable at best

like, sure, the handcannon is ok, but the bread and butter guns like assault rifles and smgs are just incredibly wimpy

I wouldn't make it such a big deal but everyone loves to praise the gunplay in this and it's just not very good imo

EDIT: okay yeah I have no idea why destiny is popular

-zero effort guns with easily manageable/no recoil
-horrific netcode where I kill someone a solid second after they kill me
-floaty movement (not jumps) that is made even worse in third person
-abilities that take 30 years to recharge for some reason
-haha you're dead weapons/abilities in pvp

I mean, to everyone enjoying the beta, go nuts, don't let me stop you, but wow, all I could think was "this game is normie bait"
