so i've been playing this game since about 2009 or so and it still remains my favorite/go-to mmorpg. started in '08 as nexon but they eventually cancelled it, now neople is making it and its better off imo

2d sidescrolling mmorpg with action combat. 15 classes and most have 4 subclasses with different skills/playstyles each, which can be "awakened" twice. players enter individual dungeons for quests with an end boss for each, with town being separate.

yes and no. there are things you can buy with cash that will boost stats and whatnot, BUT there are biweekly events and monthly big events that often allow you to get them for free if you invest the time. end-game content is currently grinding for high equipment and a raid, but more features are being added.

the reason i bring this up is not only because i like the game but there's also an event going on that is geared towards helping newer players, so if you're interested post here and maybe we can work something out.

so there's some really fucking good events going on right now that basically give you two characters of your choice at max level and with almost all your slots filled with epic-tier equipment (the best in the game). its pretty fucking ridiculous and disgusting awesome and if you ever wanted to try this game now would be the time since you basically get to skip everything and be endgame raid/content ready just for playing.

this event goes on until december 18th.

I indulge in this game once in awhile, but any new players be wary: this game is not for everyone.
If you don't like fighting game inputs or having alot of keybinds you'll find yourself very uncomfortable with how the game plays.

I play off and on and I got really hyped about the reboot. Ended up playing alone too long and burnt out.
