The original Gears of War was the very first game i ever had for my xbox 360. I played the shit out of the multiplayer, even though it was a hacky mess

Horde Mode in 3 was the best, then they went and ruined it in 4
Besides that this game was and always will be my favorite xbox exclusive game. Campaign was a masterpiece, multiplayer was great, and the maps were beautiful

It doesnt have the movement mechanics 3 has so once you GET underground it becomes a slog
