Bottom post of the previous page:

This is why I'd like to see a very rare chance of a permanent/not-decaying 'ruin' version of a building in these type of games. Stumble upon an ancient ruin? That would be pretty good stuff.

Do paved tiles revert to grass?

In H&H they don't so you can end up what amounts to archeological sites. A wall perimeter, a square, a smaller paved area that probably had a house on it, etc.

pretty much the literally only thing left of that place that is still standing is the 4 tiles of infinite clay the guy paid for that we can't mine because it's in rexials's place, and the mines

I think it's if a road hasn't been walked on in x time there's a chance for a road tile to decay

I have slain an old troll with no help from other players

And yet, I still get silly amounts of damage from kicking pigs

Boars are much stronger than wolves I've tested this without guards.

Pig is not only disgusting but strong.

I made another pilgrimage to the Church of the Damned. After swimming across the bay to get there Our Lady showed to me a Julbord and bade me taste of its bounty. I was refreshed and gave thanks. Filled, I pressed forward into the depths of the island. I reached the altar, made sacrifices and rejoiced. It game to me suddenly. The time to build a monument to Our Lady is now.

Triple post fuck you.

Official Projects List:

Colossus to Tsunami
-Currently going up just outside of the main plaza. I don't expect many people in town have the masonry to keep up with actually adding materials to it (which makes building it a bit of a fool's errand) but it doesn't take a lot of mining skill to mine rock shards or a lot of massonry to make low-mid QL colossus bricks. Only colossus bricks will work. Additionally, our endless clay supply will need tapping several times before this thing is done and anyone who knows how to get there and back can run a cartload to the stockpile.

Tavern/Harmbaton
-I'm putting in a Julbord. I'm working on turning out the 50 meals this thing will take to complete, but once its done it will be worth way more than the 50 combined. Done.
-Whoever is building random beds and shit in the bottom floor, stop. There's all sorts of random furniture piled in the middle of the bottom floor and its all stuck there now until broken. If you want to add something, ask.

The main mine
-Somebody's been digging downwards instead of just following one of the shafts. Stop. Use the "Dig" command. Never Dig up or Dig down. Always mine the Walls, not the ceilings or floors. This changes if you actually have prospecting and know how the system works, but just digging out rock should not require anything more complex than click wall, click mine.

I had no way of telling which direction it was facing after placing the initial foundation and its obviously too heavy to rotate. Of the directions it could have faced, this is definitely an ok alternative.

Just claim it was intentional to make it face the black beam.

My personal self-justification for how it turned out was
1) The hands hang over the downhill entrance and that's kinda cool I guess
2) It faces the up-hill exit from town which is also cool.

The Island of the Damned is the point where that light beam is coming from. Its not exactly "big" but it is pretty neat construction. They made a maze of stone overpasses that weaves through the tree canopy level and built a properly spooky shrine area below with the True Bone Altar. My pictures from my trip there are probably some of the earliest I posted in the thread.

Almost finished the first full barrel of vodka. Its really crap vodka and I'm pretty sure it gives some meaningless affinity buff for about as long as it takes to drink it but at least you can defrost your sword with it!

Also, I'm starting to think that having shitty QL on these stills is why this is taking so long.

I'm totally down, played on another server for about a month but it was 1x no items start and got a 1x1 shitshack up after maybe a week and half but probably could have been way faster since I legit walked in one direction and swam across rivers for like 8 hours multiple days and then died out there and went back repeat

I think default servers have shitty ql items at the start but on this server you spawned with like no items at all and had to make crude tools and shit from the ground up

I remember back in the old day, you didn't start with anything. You'd just be on newbie island and you'd have to MAKE your stuff!
And you could only carry a little bit of it along to the real server!
And we walked uphill both ways!
But it was a pretty small and managable server so it's not like it mattered for travel, and creating new stuff wasn't particularly hard either
