Codebase stellaris team deathmatch

Some people have expressed interest in this before and the new years are coming up so let's do it.

The basis is simple, a max size stellaris game with no npcs (maybe fallen empires) and teams based on codebase. It'll be a marathon game all played at once some time around new years. Plan to stay at least 4 hours and the game will probably go longer.

In order to try and figure out teams before the game: http://www.strawpoll.me/14622946
These will certainly be concentrated down to less with names based on the larger represented groups.

In the case of dropouts people from the same codebase would be accepted as replacements. Preference is given to the original player.

Schedule:

Dates you're available: http://www.strawpoll.me/14622999 December 30th.
All dates are around the new year weekend, the time and date will be chosen based on the polls one week from now.

Game setup:
Galaxy Size: Huge
Galaxy Shape: ???
AI Empires: 0
Fallen Empires: ???
Primitive Civilizations: ???
Crisis Strength: 5x (It's a game full of players, what else)
FTL Method: Hyperdrive (probably) (It's the only tactically balanced choice)

Mods:
Mostly vanilla with possibly minor content/QoL, up to debate.
Collection will be posted here after some discussion.

As far as mods go, the ones I was thinking of are:

Improves the intelligence of the AI. A must have even with no npc because it means disconnected players are less dumb and your districts build sanely.

The plan is to go very light on the mods and keep the content at basically vanilla so we all know how it works.

yeah pkp I had to even join their discord to look for a logo and they didn't even have one I had to make it myself, also I'm fine with the next weekend

It seems the best time available for people is 8pm EST December 30th or January 1st

Anyone unable to make it to either of these feel free to say so and if there's enough of a problem with it being around new year we'll move it a week forward.

Problem is it's codebase based teams, you'll need to find someone not tg to cleanse the galaxy or I'd volunteer as I'll probably be playing exterminators.

Stellaris allows play after victory so a little after match backstab n' purge is always on the table if a team wants to do that.

Yeah I'm not sure what numbers we are expecting sounds like it could end up rigged by initial numbers.

Last multiplayer game I played I made Tedward and some other nerd my minions. One through teet suckling, the other through war.

While the game is still ongoing I guess you could replace someone who might not show the second time? I dunno.
