There was a period where I played a lot of these classic crpgs like Planescape and Baldur's Gate but I just couldn't get into them no matter how much I liked the idea of them and wanted to like them.

I also thought PoE1 was incredibly dull and unremarkable. At least PST and BG had interesting premises

From what I hear this is just more of the same?
