It is just boring in terms of innovation from others though as it's pretty much Battlefield 1 reskinned. I'm sure by the time all the DLC is out, the game will feel a lot better and complete as was the case for Battlefield 1. EA/DICE should really consider giving Battlefield more a rest before releases or doing Bad Company again.

Dunno how the game plays, just that it is underselling massively and is already being put on sale/free weekend type deals. People are saying the social justice controversy is to blame, others are saying it's because the new CoD is better, but either way the game was a massive flop for a triple-A title.

I am a bitter old man and I claim that the only actual fallout games are Fallout, Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics. Everything else is an abomination. That being said, F76 looks the same as every other bethesda game to me but I guess since it isn't moddable (yet?) They can't crutch on their fans to fix their boring game this time (yet?).

Well tactics was a fun spin off that still got the setting right. It would have been a huge let down if they pushed it as fallout 3 but as a side game i had tons of fun with it.

I hear new vegas gets the story and setting right since its actual fallout guys making it, but i couldnt get into it all. The beth engine just kills games for me and i dont want first or 3rd person fallout. Its probably possible to make it work but i dunno... first/third person sandbox rpgs mostly bore me. Kotor, deus ex and vampire masquerade bloodlines worked because they werent sandbox. But ive yet to play a sandbox rpg that didnt bore me *shrug*

FO76 overall screams early access cash grab. I am forever perplexed how anyone though push to talk wasn't a launch requirement... Soooo many kids getting yelled at by their mom to clean their room or do their homework.
