I'm struggling to get used to not dodging I feel like I needed to have played bloodborne to get out of the habit but I don't console game

I feel exactly like this, but with parrying as well. My many years of building a high strength based characters in the Souls series, is biting me in the ass like a giant snake. At least I killed that orge fuck this morning, kept getting fucked over by his grab. Now I'm stuck on drunk fuck and the my little pony bastard.

The combat is much faster paced than Souls games, and relies heavily on dodging/parrying. Its kinda crazy that they decided to make a combat system so reliant on a very strict high-skill mechanic from their previous games. You need split-second timing with a lot of this stuff. Honestly i would not mind the whole thing if not for the fact that...
I found a way to make things a little easier though...
Am i missing some trick to getting those Carps that are underwater? I got 6 from the surface. I saw another by clipping my camera under the water, but none of my sword attacks can hit it. I want that mask piece!

On the underwater carps:

Just beat it for the second time with Return ending

is it better on console or PC though? google search says PC, but i've seen lots of discussion about weird input lag issues on it too

PC as always. Input latency can come down to a lot of things (I have none at all)

guess i'll buy it on steam and just refund it if it doesn't work then

An easy mode goes against everything that From Software is.
