minecraft modpack recommendations

does anyone have any good minecraft modpack recommendations? recently been trying out modpacks but they're all microcrafting bullshit or make you go through the Stone Age for 20 hours and make you use Applied Energetics over Refined Storage after like 40 hours of play

the most fun i've ever had in minecraft is with Stoneblock and no modpack has ever come close to it (stoneblock 2 sucked such enormous ass that i dont even want to get into why it sucked ass) and direwolf20's non-skyblock packs are always pretty good except for the damn magic mods

i'd prefer a sort of quest-centric skyblock modpack but i'm totally fine with a more open-ended non-skyblock modpack. but, most of them just arent interesting though. and the ones that do switch it up make you go through the stone age for 20 hours just to get something like Your First Powered Furnace. i'm a fan of skyblock packs because they're forced to make their resource-gathering different. that is, if they don't cop-out with exnihilo but luckily most modpacks are starting to shy away. i'm just very sick and tired of having to do the stupid early-game mining that you have to do for non-skyblock modpacks.

Second recommendation for Create: Above and Beyond. Very good pack, a whole lotta fun, enjoy building massive quarries with create.
