Even the pretty bad ones are worth $4 a pop, yeah Mass Effect 3's ending sucks but 1 and 2 are exceptional and everything but 3's ending is great.

It's $31.76 without Andromeda on the bundle, just buy the bundle and don't play Andromeda.

I'd rather save less money on the other games than end up buying Andromeda, personally. But that's ultimately my opinion.

Just pretend that the series ended after Mass Effect 2 and we're eagerly awaiting the completion of the trilogy.

Jokes aside, ME1 was a masterpiece. Definitely Bioware's best work, and probably the best Sci-Fi RPG of all time. ME2 was just "good, evil, neutral", and ME3 was just "good, evil", but ME1 offers a level of nuance in the dialogue options and characterization of the main character- I'm continually amazed by it.

No, because 3 actually has some cool shit in it and just falls apart in the last few hours.

Used the AHEM mod to 'fix' ME3's ending on my last playthrough, worked great. Honestly felt like part of the game. There's even another mod that lets you play the citadel DLC afterwards to make it feel like a post-game.
