Yeah, it's kind of fun. It's like Industrial Mods for Minecraft: The Game.

Campaign kinda sucks though. The objectives are very grindy, you build your thing and then just wait for resources to come/sectors to scan/whatever. Personally, I found combat being pretty bad, the meat of the game is certainly building huge industrial complexes that produce you resources. Which you then use to produce more resources. And more resources.

Admittedly, the combat is kind of the end point where you're putting your resources to actual use, but I didn't find it too enjoyable.

You'd think that multiplayer would be very fun, but in my opinion building complexes together would be a lot harder, since alone you can just have this huge plan in your head, it's tougher with more people. But I suppose building separate complexes would work fine and cool.

I played this a little while back, I certainly enjoyed it.

I do think it would be fun to play together be it Teams/PVE/Free for all.

I read the developers plan, or at least want to, add a end game where you move to a RTS perspective and you control robotics units.

Its a pretty good game nonetheless, enjoyable with a good way to adjust the difficulty.

It's all illusory other than cliffs blocking movement of things that aren't underground at the moment.

Useful as natural walls to shoot buggers over tho.

You can explode them to clear them out.

Looking up how production lines are built feels like looking up the solution to a puzzle and cheating
