Nah, I'm feeling it too. I mean, when you think about it, it's a genre with near-limitless potential, but a lot of developers realize that too and try to cash in with their own half-baked attempts, hoping that people will buy it based on that potential alone.

I've been enjoying it. They need to optimize this shit though, getting 30FPS max on my rig on all low when I can max every other game fine.

Some guy built a hotel where people pay to spend the night so they don't freeze. He'll take them to their room, knock them out, steal all their stuff, then throw them in the nearby lake with the megalodons.




There was another guy who was catching people and locking them in cages in his basement. A wandering tribe came through and rescued them.

I've played a bit, official servers with good ping to me are almost permanently full, private servers are too easy to use exploits in and even crash.

That being said, it is fun.

I have an i7 4790k(4.4Ghzturbo) and GTX 980 overclocked about 10%.

I get 20FPS or less on max.

Sick optimization.

It has a surprising amount of content and depth for an early access game, and they've been consistently updating it. The only huge negative is they have no focused on optimization at all, which they have acknowledged.

Reign of Kings has less content and a rather shitty playerbase, though any pvp game has shitty players half the time.
