I have accepted that I am better as Reaper than I am as a sniper. I want to be a sniper but... I'm just not good at fucking aiming tbh.
I can fuck up people as Reaper, just get behind the team and you fuck them up and then bail with wraith form. It's great fun! Hit and runs for days.
Now for a story
>Be Reaper
>Fucking the enemy team up by going behind their lines and killing the healer and snipers and support/offense/defense classes (Stay away from tanks since I usually can't chunk their health down fast enough but once I kill everyone else my team usually takes care of the tanks)
>Manage to get behind the entire team with my ult charged and unleash it on them and kill the entire team
>Think I'm finally gonna get play of the game (since I've never gotten it before) and my team is about to win! Everything is great!
>Internet craps out and I lose connection from the server and never get to see us win or the ending or the play of the game
>Fucking shitty as fuck university wifi

the fucking funniest thing to do as D.Va is engage the thrusters on the mech, point it at a group of enemies, then hit Q to jump out of it and trigger the self-destruct

I enjoy having the ability to stack up a bunch of the same shitheads but I hope that when the game launches for real you're not allowed duplicate picks in whatever passes for a ranked mode.
It's fun for goofing off but shouldn't be allowed in competitive modes.

My newest tactic when things aren't going well in the game is to be junkrat and just shoot from behind cover in the general direction of the big battle.
I get lots of assists/kills while being completely safe
The key to this tactic is to just never stop firing
Great fun for the whole family

Re: Overwatch
Bastion needs a lot of work.
The fact he can sit on the payload objective as a turret seems kinda open. Mix it with a reinhert and its pretty much unstoppable.
There also seems to be very little range drop off at all. Specially when most other defence characters are short ranged. Even more so at the insane damage he does.
Like its pretty much a standard to see a bastion almost every match and that kinda gets boring.

I'm DTF (down to fight).
Bastion is a pain in the ass to deal with because you have to immediately recognize him and back off. If you can figure out where he is locked down you can shit all over him though. Pharah, Hanzo, Widowmaker, Junk Rat, Symettra...lots of people can just play footsie with him around a corner and punish him.

Re: Overwatch
D.Va can aim her Defence Matrix at him and completely shut his attack down... for 2 seconds, which is enough if you can get everyone to concentrate firepower on him but otherwise just delays the inevitable.

Re: Overwatch
Speaking as someone who uses him a lot and does very well with him:
I cannot overstate how badly Pharah shits on you when you're turreted up as Bastion. She's highly mobile and you're a sitting duck. You get tunnel vision when you go into turret mode and tend to focus on one or two entrances. Pharah may fly right over what your looking at if she knows where you are. It only takes two or three hits on or in your general area and you're done. If you are having trouble with Bastion(s) counter-swap to Pharah and get rid of them. She can only use her E ability to push Reinhardts and Mercy's that might be covering Bastion away from him.
Everyone always says JUST GENJI LOL REFLECT HIS DAMAGE but I've never died to that. I've killed plenty of Genji's who have tried to do that. It's really easy to spot him when he's got his sword out and is trying to bait you into shooting at him. His reflect doesn't last very long and has a very inconvenient cooldown. On the reverse I've never really had any success using Genji to counter Bastion either. The whole plan relies on baiting him into shooting you while you have undivided attention on him to catch it...or that you just get lucky with the timing and he happens to shoot the same time you go for it. Usually I'm already wrapped up fighting a bunch of other people by the time I have penetrated to the Bastion and he either guns me down anyway when I'm mixed up fighting someone else, or I get killed by someone else on his team because I'm too busy waiting for him to start shooting at me. It's a really bad tempo play. Don't do it. People will keep recommending Genji as a counter to Bastion. I think his parry ability is good but unless the Bastion is isolated you're going to have problems pulling it off.
In sort of a rock/paper/scissors matchup though, Genji is really good against Pharah. So if you want to be Bastion but you keep getting bullied by Pharah, then you go Genji. Slapping her rockets back at her with your Katana is fucking glorious. Her ult is stupidly easy to parry as Genji. Very obvious audio cue, and she's a sitting duck up in mid-air. Also fun for Genji: letting Roadhog hook you and immediately parrying his follow-up shotgun blast back into his face. BNB combo for Genji in close is shuriken spread shot (right click, 84 damage if all three hit) -> standard melee attack (v, everyone has it, does 50 damage) -> cancel melee attack with swift strike (shift key, slash forward for 50 more damage). You can rip it out pretty quickly and it shits ~128-184 onto someone fast. Practice this in training against the bots that float around if you want to GIT GUD GENJI. 184 damage burst is enough to kill Tracer or Zenyatta outright. If you can soften your opponent up with a Shuriken shot on the way in or a deflection there's a LOT of people in the 200 health range you can finish off, or if you are surprising them with the combo you can turn around and finish with another shuriken toss.

Re: Overwatch
Two more things:
1) Headshotting a Reaper or Pharah before they can even finish saying their ult's cue as Widowmaker is the most satisfying shit. I got both during the last round I played. Both positioned themselves really obviously right in my sights as they triggered it. Reaper didn't even get to speak, he started to twirl and turn red...I put a bullet in his face before he could say shit. Pharah got to say "JUS-" as she flew up into the air, didn't hit the apex of her jump before she came right back down. Of course the play of the game was a Soldier76 gunning two people down, not even with his ult. THANKS BLIZZ.
2) This game has the most delicious women in it of any game I've ever played. The more you look at them the more you realize they're prettymuch all perfect. Like Blizzard please my dickkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

My favorite thing about Mei is when she puts up her ice barrier and hides to heal herself for a minute.
I like to stand right there and line up a headshot so I can immediately put her ass down as soon as it breaks.

Re: Overwatch
Rushing straight back to the objective is only good if your team still has presence there. Otherwise it's always worth loitering for a second so you can have at least one buddy to run back with. Eg. if your team's support is dead rather than solo rushing into multiple enemies wait a sec for them to spawn and bro up.
