Honestly playing this game with you guys is the hardest I've laughed at anything in a long fucking time.

Like...this is one of the purest moments of sheer joy and laughter of my whole life courtesy of this game. Holy shit.

Also I now own more hamburger clapparatuses than ever before:
Each one of these is capable of producing at least one distinct clap.
The larger unit has multiple sampled claps, while the two smaller units have analog claps with adjustable parameters. I will happily demonstrate this into the microphone while we are trying to coordinate an assault on an enemy ship.

We should look in to seeing if we can expand the crew count in some way. Ship operation may center around 5 people, but it's not like you shouldn't be able to have a boarding party!

They've been updating this a lot over the last month or two. There's now diplomacy options for hailing other ships, emergency warps, more screens to play with, more ship components, more systems, etc. etc.

When do people want to play?

I don't strive for leadership positions people just look to me for that.

Captain is probably best for that though, since once the fight begins he doesn't need to micromanage Pilot and Weapons Officer is on the big guns. If he wanders off the ship no critical terminal is left unattended, while Engineer and Science Officer should probably stay behind and use guns while staying within arms reach of their respective job areas.

If Science Officer can go all ANONYMOUSE HACKERS ON STEROIDS on the enemy ship and disable it temporarily, though, all bets are off. Party on the enemy's bridge.

I mean once the game is coordinated and started you can just listen on the discord and talk using the in game text chat as well.
