The tech tree is some sort of spiral and all the thing have names instead of nice memorable tiers and armour's gone they fuck it up worse with every update.

Necro'ing as i recently found this game and have been loving it. I made a mech leg and just made a box covering the leg and for some reason it is the most fucking durable thing I've ever seen.
So much fun to build little retarded machines to fight. My first game a guy had the splicer things on a penis shaped jet plane he made and just nuked people with it.
Would be fun to platoon up with some people and pit our autistic robots against other autistic robots.

Yeah the money grabbing is a big turn off when you do well and open the crate from your win and you only get half of your loot

It was sort of fun until they fucked the tech tree. Now you have to reach level 70ish to actually build a decent vehicle.

Must've changed again since I last played. Last time I tried to play it, it was the stupid spiral where you earn new parts every level, rather than picking what you want with research.

Its changed a lot from what I'm seeing. No tech tree. You gain 'cpu' with each level and cpu determines how much shit you can slap onto your robot. Only a health bar for battles n shit. Gain the autistic amount of retarded random shit from crates. Oh you got protonium the best tier of the crate? Here's a few building blocks kid. Have fun. But it's easy to always get those shits since everyone makes useless robots.

Yeah, you get shit every game and it's a better quality crate based on how well you did. And you can sell use less parts for better ones.
