I can't believe a 4 year old pay to win(well enough implemented and the game is still here i suppose) has managed to max its main server again.
Wait times are currently atrocious for every continent.

Nc bolt driver with straight bolt. the cancer my team deserves. I can hit moving targets. Soon I may be able to actually predict the godawful drop so I can shoot them in the head. despite the fact i am reading it right it still feels weird for bullets that apparently go fast to drop like that. notably you bullets don't rise before they fall(adjustable zero when what asstard decided to zero my scope at ZERO). Fun fact the scopes markings are perfectly accurate at all ranges bullets drop at 1 dot every 500 and people at 2k cross from from side 1 to 0 in exactly travel time.

The rocket launcher is an anemic piece of trash. cant even fuck up a lightning without rolling a squad which is why rushes are so hard to shut down. better off with light assault c4 2 packs put a hefty dent in anything you can reach. too bad people can just pay to reduce vehicle counters like making it 30 percent bombproof.

Logged on to fuck around with infiltrator a bit more.

Goddamn that suppressor was really fucking me over. Don't know why someone suggested I use one.
Ditched it and flanked some dudes again, got another kill streak while nobody noticed me anyway.

Decided to throw some more money into the PLANETSIDE PIT. Bought the NS SMG with the suppressor built in. Snuck around some TR facilities capping their points by myself, hacked an AA turret and shot down two Liberators and a Mosquito for stupid amounts of points. Went toe-to-toe with a TR HA and gunned his ass down even through his shield with a single mag from that SMG wew lads holy shit.

I must have been getting some headshots in that burst because that dont seem right? A single SMG mag just ripped this dude apart and I saw him pop his shield ability.

Each bullet does 125 damage within 10m.
At 779rpm and a 30 round mag...

Yep...

That's a magdump in 2.3 seconds for 3,750 damage.

The "grind" in this case is playing a gigantic fucking battlefield game with a ton of different things to do.
It's really not that bad compared to Rat-clicker 3000 type grinds.

I haven't really noticed much grinding. The starting gun is good enough to last you atleast 15-20 levels.

Getting the certs for vehicle upgrades however....

Most of the starting weapons aren't that bad, a lot of them are actually pretty good (God Saw and Pulsar), and a lot of the great weapons are cheap 200-250 cert weapons.

That stuff about the scope is actually pretty good to know.

Has anyone here used the Blackhand? I'm thinking about trying Stalker with it, it seems like it might be a good compromise between the Comissioner's killing power and the crossbow's range.

Main downside with the SMG is the fact that its kill potential per-clip is startlingly low. Its great for solo roaming but your pistols and knives start to be more appealing when you and 2 friends preform the assassination on the medic cluster in a big fight.

Good infiltrators should learn the knife double tap combo.

There are legit way too many fucking times I see a TR and hesitate to shoot them because their choice of tan camo looks just like an NC medic default.

I've got to enable that shit in the options that just colors everyone not on your team red. Because fuck it. You know that shit is intentional.

Same thing with all the fuckers on NC running around in pink. I shoot you in the fucking ass everytime because you look like a TR or VS running around. If you turn around and stab me in reprisal I finish the fucking job. Cry about it in proximity I don't give a fuck.

My legitimate gripes:

1. I can't tell a tr in white camo from a nc in white camo instantly. this has caused both a death and a team-kill. I blame overlapping color pallet(colorblind support is also nonexistent with purple and blue primary colors glhf)
2. Libarator setups that can solo down a EAA turret at 5 meters when AA fired first. Honestly you should never be able to just damage-war EAA as solo air
3. The community is a cancerous sore who act like its space nam' forever. which while true doesn't help the community grow.
4. the aa gun is not the antitank gun but locked between 15 and 90 off the horizon. I can bull-eye esf with my antitank Cannon, I want higher elevation.
5. the game is the same as it was in 2013. only now it resets the server on its own when one side crushes a region.
6. Lock on missiles are "fair and balanced"

The color palette is a real issue

It's fucking impossible to tell a tan TR from an NC Combat Medic at a glance, which may have been intentional on SOE/Daybreak's part and if so was terrible of them

I haven't had tooooo many problems. Some ultra butthurt dudes when I wasn't MLG pro and got killed by someone, who then flanked and killed them. It was kinda weird, considering how frequently you can get killed and how rapidly you can get into the fight to hear someone complaining that they got killed.

Like dude there are 50 people here and usually at least 10-12 of them are downed and need my help at any given moment. Voice isn't directional, just volumetric, so this shouting could be coming from anywhere.

I usually just ignore them. Someone else can heal you or you can respawn fuck off with that.
I get enough audio/visual information pouring in at every moment that I don't need you screaming like you're actually bleeding out. Welcome to my mute list.

A couple dumbasses in my outfit as well (that's got like 3000+ people in it) use the outfit chat for random stupid questions (HOW DOES THE ANT WORK? GUYS CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN THE ANT TO ME? GUYS WHAT DO I DO WITH THE ANT?) that you could find out for yourself in 10 seconds of google.
