Was it PTU? I remember playing it like 2 years ago and I thought it was pretty interesting. Apparently it has several expansion packs for things like sci-fi settings, fantasy settings (eastern, western, and arabian), and some more info about legendaries.

Interested.

Swift Swim Kyogre
It still activates Drizzle before evolving because that goes off when its sent out, gains double speed

(although the rain only lasts 5 turns (8 with damp rock) and then you stay mega evolved and can't reapply it)

To be fair I remember them never actually promising any gameplay footage, only a teaser.

So yeah, we all got hyped for what is probably just the intro.

explain why

Re: Pokémon

1. barely portable
2. an ergonomic nightmare (seriously if you try to play anything that uses the bumpers even remotely regularly your fingers will pop off)
3. the upgrade to the actual 3ds is literally the cost of a single game - its more worth it to have the better system
4. made of lower-quality materials. doesnt break as easily only because it does not fold, as its for children. also,
5. its for children

The pokemon trading card game I used to play with my dad has the worst fucking power creep I've ever seen. Some of these new cards have five attacks, two of which are free, and on a fucking basic.

Back in my day they had two, maximum.

Fuck you wizards of the coast.

On the bright side original series pokemon is on Netflix now. I didn't realize how much of a cunt ash is when I was younger.

That's all I have to contribute to a pokemon discussion.

A bunch of people I work with are suddenly reviving competitive Pokemon in our little group.

Are the mega ruby/sapphire shits worth buying? The last Pokemon game I got was X.

Ruby and Sapphire are okay.

They have the best breeding location of any pokemon game.

X and Y have more content though.

everything involving team aqua and magma was awesome, and the fight with groudon/kyogre was very well done

I can't speak for the epilogue chapter with rayquaza though, haven't done it yet

The battle island or whatever it's called

Has a perfect loop for egg hatching and it's right next to the breeder's

And there's also a dude there that can check IVs or whatever they're called
