I am running for headmin candidacy because I believe that this admin team needs leadership that is capable of looking at the issues, at both the big picture and the small picture, and making well thought out rational decisions.

But most importantly I'm running for headmin because this admin team needs leadership that isn't gonna get fed up with conflict, that isn't gonna grow bitter and start assuming the worst of people, and isn't gonna let the stress get to them, and I think thats me.

In my tenure on this earth, I've been the sysop/founder of a few torrent sites, I've been irc admin on a few small/medium networks. On top of that, I was the manager for the computer repair center at my college, training people, making policies, designing our entire computer intake and outtake process from scratch, and had first veto on all hiring decisions. Being a headmin is easy as fuck compared to some of the shit I've dealt with. I'm not gonna get stressed out, I'm not gonna get bitter, I'm gonna get shit done.

What I bring to the table is somebody who can look at the whole picture and not be reactionary. Part of that is seeing the clear line between SJW bullshit and people who are just getting tired of the same edgy jokes over and over again.

There is a big difference between the two.

What we have is just people tired of the gimmicks of yesterday and at some point we have to draw the line between what part of that should be reflected in policy, and what part shouldn't.

None of that requires any reconciliation between my MRA alignment.

The separation between the IP's and singulo is absolute, full stop. You can imply soft power all you want but you do not have it. I am tired of reading ip posters platitudes for the billionth time and will not be checking back on this thread.

But MSO in hopes to bring the discussion back to your headmin campaign how did you originally become an admin, and do you feel like hosting the forums helped in you gaining that status? if so why should you continue to rise through the ranks if you were originally given the position through nepotism?

But MSO in hopes to bring the discussion back to your headmin campaign how did you originally become an admin, and do you feel like hosting the forums helped in you gaining that status? if so why should you continue to rise through the ranks if you were originally given the position through nepotism?

Heres how this works.

I got made an admin observer by sos because I was forum host.

In my tenure as AO I had proven helpful and knowledgeable to the point that headmins and game masters were turning me in to a trialmin on a round by round bases to handle ahelps while they ran events and mashed buttons. Shortly after this started, the admin trainer rank was created, and I started getting admin candidate any time a admin trainer was on. Shortly after that, sos for some reason puts me in the .txt as an admin candidate. This was during that server move where that temp server was up, so I think it had something to do with that. After about a month of being a admin candidate on the .txt with nobody knowing why an admin candidate was on the .txt, I was finally made trial admin. a month later I got my vote, and passed it 13 promote, 1 extend trial, 0 demote.

So, While I got admin observer for being the forum host. I damn well earned the rest. ok, So maybe I should have pmed you before banning you back there. I'll give you that. My b. Any other reason you think I shouldn't be an admin?

Theres three phases of feminism
Suffrage - right to vote, the earliest phase that was founded long long ago even before the negros could vote even with poll taxes
Equality - gender equality which ensured equality when it came to personal rights and securities.
Patriarchy - The third and current phase where a majority of women complain that men are the sole reason for the worlds problems as they beg men to give them 'equality' which means taking rights away from men enmasse

Patriarchy has been a part of feminism since the beginning. Its not a new concept. It's just that feminism started running out of actual things to fight against to offset the craziness of its theories, so society has been kinda forced to notice it.

And suffrage was never a part of feminism, the majority of women's suffrage activists opposed the feminism/feminist label. Susan B Anthony repeatedly decried it as exclusionary to men.

People like to make feminism out to be synonymous with gender equality, but its not. Feminism has a lot of baggage that comes with it, in the way of gender ideologies and "theories", a lot of which are incompatible with egalitarianism, the core concept behind Men's Rights Activism.

Affirmative action is incompatible with egalitarianism.
Opposing the Equal Rights amendment unless it had exceptions for Affirmative Action and excluded classes "in power" is incompatible with egalitarianism.
Campaigning for more title 9 funding for women in college with the college gender gap is actually the reverse of what it was when title 9 gender funding programs were first setup, is incompatible with egalitarianism.

I mean, the list goes on, and on, and on.

Egalitarianism is the belief that everybody is equal, all humans are equally human, and all human lives are equally worthwhile.

This is wildly incompatible with feminism's double standard "two wrongs make a right" approach.

How is the men's rights movement suppose to get along with a movement that actively promotes discrimination against men, justified under the 'two wrongs make a right' header.

I'm not talking about tumblr, nor UD, nor any of that. I'm talking about the same feminism that thinks its ok to cheer on Lorena Bobbit when she cut her husbands dick off because "He always cum but he never make me cum".

It stems from a very deep us vs them mentality, Look at the Declaration of Sentiments This was in 1848, and look at it, every list of grievance is prepended with "he". How the hell is the Men's rights movement suppose to peacefully co-exist with a movement that blames men for all the gender related issues.

Its the same thing with patriarchy. Patriarchy stands for "the rule of fathers" and in feminism generally refers to any society where men are in charge. You can't blame issues on men being in charge without inferring negative things about men, and this is never gonna peacefully co-exist with a movement designed to solve discrimination against men.
