About Headmin Elections

So, why not make that all 3 headmins are selected via Adminbus instead of having 1 selected by Adminbus, 1 by Coderbus, and 1 by Player vote? Since a player vote can also be easily manipulated and can't be gauranteed to elect either an active or good headmin. Would probably just be better if all 3 are elected by Adminbus.

Just a note, the coderbus vote is actually the host vote, that was given by the previous hosts to coderbus.

I don't currently plan on doing that, rather i'll let the current headmins at the time decide where it goes.

If I recall correctly, the Coder vote was given as an attempt to bridge the gap between the admins and coders. It worked, but the coder headmin position didn't really serve a purpose.

Player majority, 2-1 so the administration still gets a guaranteed voice.

3 adminbus headmins is a pretty terrible concept. I like to at least pretend I'm getting my interests as a player represented.

Coderbus having a vote has always been retarded, because it's a maintainers-only vote, not to mention 'the separation of the project and the server is absolute'. I'm glad to hear MSO won't be giving them a free vote, and have (some) faith in headmins putting that voting power where it belongs.

We should let a bot do the voting. Democracy doesn't work and admins can't be trusted.

All hail the robot.

It guarantees an unbiased, neutral outcome. I like it.

But. Who programs the bot?

And there Coderbus gets the vote back.

The admins elected Sticky, the players elected STP.

'nuff said.

This.

I voted bot because the reality in which we face was not reflected. Though I do have a question for MSO that I haven't asked yet, when you say current headmins do you mean the one's we have now or the hypothetical future ones the players and admins will vote in?
