I got in an argument with a Petrov Petrovic Petrovski because peaceful gangs and how he said gangs are impossible when peaceful due to delta alert nuking. I tried to explain why delta isn't just "nuke gonna go boom" but a general "holy fuck shit has hit the fan". He says hes going to bed and then lzimann butts in about how delta being about nuking. This gives Petrov the final satisfaction about being right and leaves right as I say a successful domination doesn't nuke the station because that'd be fucking stupid why would a gang spend their time claiming it only for it to blow up.

This is an issue because he let petrov leave with false satisfaction and smugness which gravely upsets me, also knives said I had no balls and wouldn't make the complaint so fuck you both.

Delta level states that the station is in possible imminent destruction-however, this doesn't fully explain the extent or type of "destruction" it is in, if I am unmistaken. It would be total or infrastructure destruction or really any huge emergency that presents a very drastic situation.

Both of you are correct.

Theoretically, delta alert is basically supposed to mean "shit has very very fit the fan and everyone is probably in immediate danger of dying, the station is essentially under military rule, do what you are told or die."
In practice, with our playerbase, delta alert means "either valid the gangs or do nothing because the ops won."

I think I actually changed that line in the repo's config, but since the server uses it's own set it never changed.
