OOCQuest

So this is a thing i've been doing in which i'll offer a scenario in OOC and people can say how they want to go.
For example, we enter a tavern, what do we do? Stuff like that.
I'm going to record the progress of where we get to here.
I might also do a forum version at some point.

Inventory

A handful of unknown Gold Coins
1 Guide to the Magical World Of Wizarding
1 Wooden Dagger
1 Wooden Cross
1 Flint, but no tinder
1 finger, taken from a forest exile
1 elvish dagger
1 axe, bloodied
Full leather armour

Our character
Imperial Human male, high level of physical strength.
Able to conjure fire but unable to perform any other magics yet.
Unable to remember much about his past.
Has shown the ability to murder others without too much regret.
Prefers to deal with problems head on.

The story so far
We awoke in a dark forest, propped against a tree, with no recollection of what happened, and a gash on our head, presumably from a knockout blow.
We had our leather armour, and our axe, and we trekked through the forest, past a goblin camp, to a shack in a clearing.
We looted and burnt the shack, but found some healing liquid on fabric that we drank, healing us to nigh full strength.
We rested momentarily in the heat.
Upon waking, a forest exile was watching us, we spoke to him, and found it was a woodcutter's shack. We then robbed and murdered the exile, gaining a ton of coinage in the process.
We exited the forest, and took a path to a barn, in which we found a murdered elf family, we took an elvish blade from the scence, then burnt the barn down.
We trekked to a crossroads, and took the path left.
We found a village of humans, and sought the nearest tavern.
Upon reaching it, we paid for information, food, drink, and bedding. We discovered that goblins had been raiding and that our coinage was fairly rare, and each coin would suffice for service around most of the shops in the village.
We were exhausted, so at this point we went upstairs and slept, thus concluding day 1.

Would anyone be interested in this actually being forum based?

I haven't figured out a good way to do it, both in-game or forum, i'll probably pick it up once the idea comes to me.

I highly recommend keeping it in OOC, seems more on-the-fly that way, which is what I think works best.

The townsfolk tell you of a great and terrible necromancer rumoured to reside in the faraway barren wastelands to the east. They say the necromancer has command over both life and death, in addition to the power of the elemental forces themselves. They also tell you that one of their number was turned into a newt but you suspect that's merely an exaggeration or a falsehood.

The holy scripture is remarkably clean and crisp despite the untidiness of your inventory, suggesting it is either brand new or meticulously cared for. The scripture is very long-winded but it details a pantheon of Gods and Goddesses, their domains and their preferred forms of worship and taboos - The overdeity of this pantheon does not appear to go by a name, but rather a collection of titles. Such as "The Watcher" or "The Hidden One". The cross you have with you appears to not venerate any of these gods or goddesses in particular.
