Nobody said it had to be guaranteed weighting, but unless we do something radical like dividing sybil & basil into game types not much is expected to change. CM artifically simulates RP and gameplay simultaneously by RP'ing a game objective scenario step by step, and while it might not be as open ended as the tg approach it fufills the expectation of visitors to that server.

CM RP is extremely draining and tiring.

Oh look, we all pretend to be surprised by aliens again, and again, and again.

It feels kind of silly after like the third or fourth time. Yes you're playing a character who's fresh in the environment every time, but all the actually interesting roleplaying happens after the real fighting has begun. The whole briefing/discovery period plays out the same every single game and it gets boring.

Its RP, you feign suprise for good measure or stop playing and come back later.

Its up to you how you want to use your downtime, usually marines either (*le gasp*) talk and rp with each other or throw shtick at their commanding officers (within their guidelines)
