Those fancy pants Delaque were struttin around too prideful like
So Fat Dick and his family showed up in a hit on their leader, putting them in their place.

The bastards still managed to kill Heavin' Steven in the gunfight, but we caught their boy Gant and our bellies are rumbling.

EDIT: They came back for their boy but we put a few of them into the ground and the rest of the gang took off. Word is the loss of their leader was too much and they broke up.
We celebrated over dinner. Gant was the guest of honor.

General info bump for anyone watching the thread:

We're having a blast playing as a growing community league and new people keep joining. It's a pretty simple game to learn and we have a solid mix of experienced players and fast-learners to bring more people on board if you're watching this and wondering about whether you should join up or not.

There's I think 10-11 gangs of varying levels of experience all looking to get in games at what seems like all times throughout the day, so the more the merrier. The only cost involved in joining is Tabletop Sim, the books are all available online for free.

The meta-strategy of the game isn't too complicated to learn nor is it very deep. Most of the fun comes from the narratives your individual gang members build over the course of games, the rivalries between gangs, the ridiculous mishaps and stuff. If you like the build-your-own-story quality of stuff like Dorf Fort or Rimworld or whatever you will probably click right into what makes Necromunda fun to play.

Dorf fort comparison is accurate considering the levels of Fun! that occur based on round-end results.

It's possible for a guy to get his head blown off in a game and die

It's also possible for a guy to get his head blown off in a game and earn bonus experience for it.

Big Griff found a newbie, and proceeded to scavenge the place anyway.
This new gang shot Griff, got through his armour and inflicted a wound.

Newbie got off with 2 pieces of loot, worth a total of 70 credits.
Big Griff, winning the fighting portion, getting shot, and taking four pieces of loot?
35 credits.

RIP Necromunda

Fun while it lasted but I guess people got bored of it.
Or their attention span can't handle it, either works
