So recently I've been asked by admins to change the name of a character "Nyanaroni An'Cheese" because it breaks the naming rule, however I don't see how this does and I believe it falls under minimum effort not excessively OOC. I was told I'm not the only person this applies to despite the fact that another catgirl player Cup Cake is able to keep their name? I've never heard anyone named Cup. At least mine could be argued to be spaceage gibberish. I know that the user who plays Cup Cake was banned for refusing to change the name before, but they were unbanned and continue to play the character. Either you let all slightly stupid names through or you don't. Smell testes are unfair and the rules need to be updated regarding names and enforced on EVERYONE, because smell tests clearly aren't working.

Also I'm okay with Verbs-the-noun for lizards since it's so ingrained it's lore. Especially with lizards natively speaking draconic it makes sense that they have names that translate weirdly.

When I was first born, I was different. I was more aerodynamic than the other babies. More slippery, too. When I left the womb, I came out flying. Apparently I was also bouncier than the other babies, because I then ricocheted off of the walls for what my parents recall as "a good five minutes." So long as we can keep relatively silly names that still work as names (Ostrava of Nanotrasen, Aria Bollet, Megumin Bakuretsu) then I don't see any harm in toughening up a bit on the edge case stuff like food names.

Cup Cake behaviour and personality was also in tune with her name and she did actually play the game unlike the BigBlackSausage of the week who only logs in the game to force a policy thread.
