4 minute rounds because the wizard accidentally fireballed himself might as well not happen and are a waste of everyone's time. Mulligan is the lesser evil.

I'll give you an even better one: dead wizard = new wizard pulled from pool of alive crew. Eliminates friendly wizards outright.

Waiting two minutes for a new round is infinitely preferable to a wizard appearing, the crew getting geared up, the wizard getting nuked, and some chucklefuck with a backpack full of guns getting antag.

if it mulliganed into a new wiz id say sure, but when traitors lings and traitorlings appear after the wizard dies it ends up being really cancer because more often than not everyone will be geared up for murder and there may even be staff of chaos or wand belt floating around. imagine a changeling with something like that YIKES.

The typical mass all access and gun rationing that happens on wizard rounds (assuming the wizard didn't spam event spells) doesn't lend well to a bunch of people suddenly getting 20 TC / ling powers on top of it.

the solution is to mulligan it into the new roundtype gamemode where people lose their weapons and all collected items that aren't roundstart for that role. That's good mulliganning and I'd want that.

Make mulligan into Extended+.

Round doesnt end, but latejoins can be antags and side antags have an increased spawn chance.

ANYTHING besides 4 minute rounds.

Ooh yeah I think theres a mulligan that removes all the access and gear called “restarting the round”

tbh the roundstart time should be dynamic based on the previous round.

It should halve the time or something if the last round was super short.

half hte time it never ends anyway because of a laughter demon or apprentice
