Hi!
I find that the MRP title for Manuel tends to turn people away, as well as being more or less redundant.
I imagine a scale:
NRP: No-RolePlay
LRP: Low-RolePlay
MRP: Medium-Roleplay
HRP: High-Roleplay
ERP: Extreme-Roleplay
For all intents and purposes it may be better to simple call it the TGstation roleplay server and call it a day. Since calling it MRP leads to over defining it and causes people to internally diminish just the levels of roleplay are actually desired.
Besides, if it's right smack dab in the middle why even have a prefix for it?

Eris changed from MRP to RP so that they aren’t associated with acts like para sage and manuel, so now we gotta do a quick name change to continue to fuck them over

Jokes aside though not a terrible idea, the less in common with para the better

its a medium roleplay server, it describes it fairly accurately. we probably don't want to encourage people to join who dont immediately understand the point

no I just feel like renaming mrp server to simply rp would be disingenuous
it’s a mrp server and it should be named as such. naming it simply rp is just retarded because it doesn’t reflect the nature of the server. MRP label always scares away LRP players but I don’t see why the fuck would you change the label unless you want them to play your server. Which OP clearly doesn’t want. If the server pop is dying it’s not because label scares people away, it’s because your target audience doesn’t like the server anymore.
and no, I don’t hate Manuel. It’s existence was necessary because it ended the muh mrp on tg argument once and for all. I treat its existence as a necessity because after it’s inception I would no longer see certain individuals on bagil and terry. It’s just hilarious to shit on it because it creates good peanut threads and funny bans.
