Expanding the headadmin ruling on "Admin spawned non hostile entities"

Can we please have a the ruling expanded so that sentient simplemobs are not instantly valid?

Many people think its ok to murder a sentient Ian, Beepsky, Cow that is just vibing for no reason.

This is practically just beeing a dick and should fall under Rule 1.

If someone is griefing, beeing annyoing or epic monkey/gorilla going ham sure kill it, but a NON HOSTILE sentient simplemob should never be instantly valid.

This is already part of what the rule is for.

i ahelped but i was told that i was valid.

And i have asked headadmins if sentient simplemobs are valid and they said yes.

So there is obviously some discrepancies.

i very much appreciate the offer to look into the rounds.

my thread is not made out of idedplsban i made this because there is clearly a ruling needed on "are sentient simplemobs valid"

i have seen and experienced many cased of simplemobs beeing killed and gibbed for the luls.

This thread is not to shame the admins that made these rulings but it is because i still think there is a not a clear ruling

To clarify I wasn't saying that non-antagonistic mobs aren't valid to kill, just that antagonistic ones you know you won't be bwoinked for. Things just get blurry once you move past that distinction. Mine is still basically a player opinion though so /shrug

edit: also I thought we were just talking about random simple mobs not admin spawned ones

Lepi is wrong.

To be clear you asked him to regurgitate a previous policy and NOT rule that it should be different. He answered "no" to the former, and he is wrong (you seem to even posted the ruling so im not sure what the confusion is here). Event-related PCs are protected from random killing although it's pretty much on the admin to make it clear to the player it was an admin event and not sentient animal random event.

We will keep this ruling as is, event spawned simplemob entities are not insta valids.
