Re: enforce naming policy on nukeop lrp
I always thought the nuke op family names are codenames, not the real/legal names of the team members, like you would have on station IDs.

Nah, treat it like station names. Admins should be able to veto them in cases where they're REALLY stupid or break the rules.

Re: enforce naming policy on nukeop lrp
That's a code issue, but it shouldn't be hard to implement. Just take the code we already have for station names and apply it to whatever routine sets nuke op names.

In that vein I'd rather it be a judgement call on what may or may not be over the top, than to have this defined by some specific naming policy.
Unless its to say something like keep OOC out of the names or something.

Re: enforce naming policy on nukeop lrp
If otherwise compliant with rules 1, 8, and 11- there's no need to create a new naming policy governing potential last names of Nuclear Operatives. A code solution to allow admins to intervene when setting a last name (i.e.: A system akin to where an admin can intervene before the name of a station is finalized) is welcomed.
