Your side of the story:
So, another rev has been chasing me a good chunk round, being a general annoyance. Then when I break into the captains office with thermite and spend a good chunk of time breaking open the gun cabinet he quickly runs and takes the gun. So I tap him with the neurotoxin syringe I have loaded in my syringe gun, partially strip him to get the gun back and toss him in disposals since he solely took it to annoy me I am pretty sure since his behavior that round.
Not only that, I know there was a head going to sec while neurotoxin'd, so I needed the gun to shoot through the glass I would encounter.

Why you think you should be unbanned:
He took the gun 4noraisin as a same team antag, and all I did was partially strip him and take it back. I wasn't originally interfering with his rev round, he was with mine.
I also have had a slight suspicion he might have been doing some metagrudging since I have noticed a lot of minor ic crime towards me round after round and he's been trying to escalate things a lot. I feel this might've been banbaiting, and even then the ban reason is flimsy, even as a antag you should have some way of self defense against people stealing stuff.
N.B.: Even though I have said suspicions, I didn't deal with him differently than I would anyone else for impairing the team and/or me just to be grey tide.

Also I made a policy thread, since I feel like there aren't proper precedence for instances where both parties harm their team. Since he initiated that scenario and I dealt with it ICly that should've been it it. If I am in the wrong here, what would've been acceptable to deal with people stealing things from their fellow team antags?

I'm fine with lifting it because a permaban was overkill, but I still maintain that it was not acceptable team behaviour.

This technically isn't resolved yet as the ban hasn't actually been lifted. I'd do it myself but dorsidwarf didn't specify how long the replacement ban should be.

Ah, alright. I'm mostly playing roles that get sunglasses so a good chunk of my rounds don't get assblasted because I get flashed by a Rev.

Wait, even when banned from a conversion mode, you can still be converted to it? Or what happens, I had myself banned from blood cult a long time ago because I hate the mode and now im curious what would happen if someone tried converting me.

I mean, assblasted as in being ghosted and not being able to partake in the round currently. That's what I'm currently trying to avoid by playing roles that are hard to flash until I get unbanned. I can't currently roll MD because those tend to get flashed at round start.

I asked dorsi how long to make the new ban and he never got back to me. I'm going to retroactively make this a weekban, and since it's been more than a week you're unbanned.
