Your side of the story: Someone asked about the R next their character during a round. As per similar space station 13 fashion, the entire chat blew up because of such a question being the exact example outline in the rules as WHAT NOT TO DO. I just reacted exactly how we've always react to IC in OOC, never have I seen anyone banned because of reacting to it. Bob then issued a warning AFTER I responded (that I could not even see because his text was green against a whole bunch of green text.)
Why you think you should be unbanned: This is not any different than the response that I get if I was to do something similar. I understand that I may have been a rude but I have seen people do the exact same thing to me when I received and ick ock warning when I was a new player, without those people being noted and me being noted. I am completely fine with the idea of this being something to ban for, but there is NO reference to this being in the rules to respond as such to someone commiting an IC in OOC violation. Additionally, any warning to stop talking was given after I put my message in OOC, there was no indication that what I did was wrong from the admins and I was given no warning to stop (bob's OOC message was hidden throughout a sea of radio text). Again, I completely understand that this is something that people would want to be a rule, but it is currently not outlined in the rules right now therefore making me think that my behavior was acceptable. The ban is likely to be gone now but I just don't think that the ban should be included on my record since the rules surrounding it were not clearly outlined. I'd be happy to oblidge by them in the future, however.
